Tales of Computer Repair Sacramento CA. I blog, therefore I remember how to: Set default RDP Domain Client Log on:
If necessary to always enter (domain)\ before logging in, set the .rdp to populate the domain itself. Two ways:
- Open the .rdp file in notepad, add the following as a new line at the bottom:
username:s:(domain-name)\
- Before saving the .rdp, enter the following in the user name field:
(domain-name)\
This will guarantee that domain credentials are being used to log on without users entering the domain\ manually, it’s filled automatically.
